Both kids with pinkeye last weekend.

Little one had a double ear infection WITH an allergic reaction to first antibiotic.

Older one woke up with a fever after two strep throat notices in the classroom.

Been 10+ straight days of sick here.

@Ghosty02772504 I think some that have areas that cater more to kids have value, can be viable business models and can keep the kids out of establishments that can’t or don’t have that kind of setup. Feels like a reasonable take, pleases everyone.

Definitely seen it done. It has to be thought out, and it’s not possible for every space. My main point is that parents want kid friendly bar spaces as much as others want fewer kids in their bars. But too many places are doing a bad job at trying to be both.

@h_rryy9 I like it when places set clear expectations. Much better than everyone being pissed at what they perceive to be unwritten rules.

@Ghosty02772504 @dylanhjm That feels like an edge case, but that’s why I said some. I’m on board with not every place needs to be for everybody. As a parent, kid free spaces have value for us. But without some more kid-friendly spaces, people will bring them where they aren’t wanted.
