So what do I do? Never release a game on steam or use AI (to code) and risk a big drop in sales because of the negativity. I don't use AI for art. I don't know what to do
When is AI ok? Ive been using AI since last year, recovering from multiple TIA. If I didn't, I'd last 1-2 hours a day. The AI has helped with recovery and building mental stamina. I've not touched my steam projects because I don't want to tar them with the stigma of using AI.
@boltondynamics I used AI to help recover from multiple mini strokes last year and i've yet to see AI be creative. It can do what you tell it. Some times it'll do something similar to what you tell it. So it depends on the person. If only the mediocre devs use AI you wont see something special
@codevsdev I mean Vic-20 basic had programs in the back of the manual and Amstrad had magazines with programs in(and later there was a manual of sorts I got by subscribing to Amstrad Action for like a year. My first real PC language was Turbo Pascal really and that came with help built in
yo @elonmusk there are a billion "images" on x right now that link to other posts and 3rd party websites that are scammy as hell. all with farage fighting someone on question time that is clearly AI slop. Do you have someone dealing with this crap?
