WW is built first and foremost for the CLI so that users can have powerful personal productivity tools with maximum control over Web interactions. This image shows "ww deps" to confirm tool dependencies.
Every warrior needs some weapons. We've begun to grow a solid collection, starting with taskgun developed by hamzamohdzubair (an OS extension for TW). This is the spirit of the project, building in extensions the community makes and make attribution clear.
WW's big levers are CMD and CTRL. Through CMD you can take profile- or system-wide actions via built in heuristics or using AI. CTRL gives you direct control over the presence of AI in each profile.
Syncing issues or tasks from other services happens via Bugwarrior, another sister project of Taskwarrior. We've added in a 2 way github sync that rn harnesses gh cli to make daily use of WW seamless.
Questions service is a simple way of creating interactive forms for any of the functions, they're per profile or global, and can serve both the human user and the AI agents that are granted access to the profile.
Ledgers (via hledger project) helps WW become a total solution for project and business management. Costs can be populated manually or via text dumps paired with LLM analysis.
Times function uses Timewarrior, the sister project of Taskwarrior that WW is built around. Right now time tracking is still one at a time but plans are to enable batch tracking using groups and projects too.
Profiles are really the heart of WW. They bring together the 4 main functions: tasks, times, journals, and ledgers. They are isolated from other profiles and within each countless subprofiles can be created.
