I’ve had the most mentally stimulating weekend yet, my goodness!!!

Yesterday’s side quest took me right into @paystack HQ for the fourth edition of Rooms & Roundtables, courtesy the most beautiful @Orifunke. 🥹

Fisayo Kolawole is one of the most intelligent and funny people I’ve ever listened to!

I went in with a bunch of questions I’ve been wrestling with as I think about scaling @workwithlenora, and I left with so much more than I came looking for.

There’s a LOT of work ahead of me as we keep building, but I’m leaving this weekend feeling incredibly blessed and more energized to keep going.

To think we’ve come this far already…

Today, I was on a call with someone who told me she likes my personal branding style of communicating my work with depth.

In her words, “it makes me deeply understand your work in a way that if anyone asks me about you, I know what to tell them”

But what she didn’t know is that while developing Lenora’s @workwithlenora brand bible in July, I explained what we do as “we help you strategically communicate the depth of the great work you do in a way that the market deeply understands your value”

Getting this feedback and having it side by side with the vision I had in my head while writing the brand bible is giving me butterflies, flowers, goosebumps and so much joy.

Yes! We’ve also been thinking a lot about the decisions that compound quietly in business and careers and in our work of uncovering the stories of ambitious people who do great work we’ve noticed a lot of what we call “discipline” is really our relationship with consequences.

It’s why building good habits can feel disproportionatelye difficult in the beginning cause you’re being asked to act on a future that hasn’t given you enough evidence yet.

The interesting part is learning to make decisions with the future version of your life in the room with you.

Currently blushing because a client just asked my team member who just joined Lenora about a month ago what her favorite thing about running Lenora is and she said the coordination, the systems and our structure.😭😭😭🧡

As a very eccentric person, I’m so glad that Lenora has its own identity that keeps me and the entire team in check.
