Great news! At the @worldcon2021 Business Meeting this morning, the #LodestarAward passed it's final ratification vote by an easy majority! The award has now secured its position in the #WSFS constitution.

People first began clamoring for a Young Adult category at @TheHugoAwards in the 1990s. After years of work by many Worldcon members, multiple proposals, and even a name change (from #HugoAward to Lodestar), Worldcon now has a permanent Young Adult award of its own.

For the first time in Worldcon history, Worldcon will happen in December. ❄️☃️
