@ARYA_Kitgum joins @worudet, #KINGFOR & other rights organisations in Kitgum and Lamwo in advocating against the rising incidence of intimate partner violence (IPV) in Acholi sub-region.
We condemn all forms of GBV and call upon duty bearers including families to take Action.
We call upon all partners to act towards ensuring that partner intimate violence comes to an end, by starting to address the root causes and there after the vice. We believe that through doing this, we can have a violence-free community for every man and woman.
As WORUDET, KINGFO and other member human rights partner organizations, we held a press conference today 7th, March 2025 as a call to action for all of us to come together and work towards achieving a violence-free future for every woman and man.

We therefore call upon all partners to act towards ensuring that this vice comes to an end, which can only be achieved by starting to address the root causes. Through doing this, we can break the cycle of violence and build a stronger, more peaceful Acholi sub-region for all.
