@noUpside Eliminating honors is a terrible idea.

Do they not understand what a child ACTUALLY learns when s/he is flat-out bored in class? It teaches them “school is worthless, why bother?”

@owadenko Funny - one of the ideas I heard pitched by a GenZ was a replacement for Yelp.

Yet when I asked what they specifically didn’t like about Yelp, Yelp actually does, and does quite well.

Noticing a trend among GenZ lately: I’ve heard a number of pitches for ideas that felt very 2000s - ie a revisiting of the concepts that grew into Yelp or LinkedIn or Niche.

Is it b/c those massive companies aren’t relevant for #GenZ?

Or is GenZ in a TikTok tech bubble?

Hidden opportunities
Alternate business models

Which by themselves don’t actually mean much.

Rather, it’s a “toolbox” of options and ideas to pull from as they iterate.
