You can literally now create a 60-day GTM / growth plan within a matter of MINUTES using Claude 3.5
In honor of Labor Day, I'm about to teach you how to work smarter not harder.
Key points to remember:
1. Your inputs determine your outputs
- Be specific and intentional with prompts
- Talk to the model as a person doing a task
2. Revise. Revise. Revise.
- Rarely is the first iteration the best one
- Make sure the plan is specific to your business
3. Accept help from Claude
- Use smart suggestions to enhance quality
- Leverage these to improve your outputs
Prompt I used is in the thread.
Good luck
Mark my words: Content, community, and (experiential) events are gonna be among the highest sought marketing skills over the next 3 years.
While traditional B2B marketing like targeted PPC can be effective,
This power trio encourages more meaningful and sustainable growth at scale all while reducing churn (big difference).
They also help keep CAC down while simultaneously building credibility & authority in-market.
If you're not sure how the three work together, remember this:
Step 1: Content
- Valuable content attracts your community
- Builds credibility, visibility, and authority
Step 2: Community
- Builds brand awareness, affinity, and loyalty
- Finds value through strategic IRL + URL events
Step 3: Events
- Community builds/finds meaningful connections
- Success determined by quality of your content
Your content then...boom.
Start the cycle all over again.
More like a flywheel than a cycle, but you get the point.

Let's jam on this
In VC and startups, we have something called “signaling” where certain trends take flight based on behaviors or indicators from industry leaders.
@OpenAI announced they’re hiring a Community Manager.
If one of the top startups in the world is hiring Community Managers
Then maybe that should tell us something about the future of GTM.
But...what do I know?
I’ve only been doing this Community thing for the last 8 years 😉
How to let go of perfectionist tendencies when recording content:
1. Remind yourself that no one gives a shit
- This is meant to be humbling; not hurtful.
- The more you think, the less you do.
- Get out of your head and in the game.
2. Put forth your best intentions
- Stop thinking “This could go viral”
- Replace w/: “This could help a lot of people.”
- Focus on value (esp. in the first 3 months)
3. Done is better than perfect
- Perfectionism can be paralyzing
- Focus on a goal of completed pieces
- Impressions and growth can come after
This whole thing is a process.
So cut yourself some slack, show yourself some grace
Have some fun and get your reps in.
Good luck, my friend.
From one (recovering) perfectionist to another 💛
I swear every time I invest in a company I shed a thug tear lol 🥹
Excited as hell to introduce Aesthetic, the Shazam for social media fashion, as my newest portfolio company.
In 2 short months Aesthetic has grown to 85K users on their waitlist.
Been watching LJ for a minute and can definitely say that he is an absolute beast of a founder.
Excited to see what he does!
