The petition was submitted to the Perumpakkam Panchayat President during the Gram Sabha meeting held on Independence Day (15.08.2023). The petition emphasizes two crucial requests.

2.)Secondly, comprehensive substance awareness programs should be organized in all schools within the panchayat once in a month. These programs should be conducted by professional social workers, psychologists, or counselors.
