The Cat Form quest looks bugged in the Forever beta, so a Druid hitting 20 might not get Cat Form for now. In Classic you just trained it at 20, but in Forever it's a quest, and each race's version sends you to the Stormrage Barrow Den for three relics.

Players trying to loot the relics get a "no loot" error. The theory going around is that only one person at a time can loot a relic, and some say griefers are spam-clicking them to block everyone else, so there's a whole line of Druids waiting at the den.

MOSTLY UNDEAD BOSSES IN RUINS OF LORDAERON

Four of the six bosses in Ruins of Lordaeron, the new dungeon above the Undercity, are undead. Exorcism only hits undead and demons, and Paladins get it at 20, so I think this one is kind of a Paladin dungeon.

Season of Discovery's book grind, where Mages turned in books for a rune, is back in Forever, and this time every class can do it. At 10 books you pick a necklace and at 20 a ring, though the non-caster ring is marked Rogue-only right now, which might be a bug.

The books are out in the open world, some in easy spots and some harder, and they go to your faction's librarian: Garion Wendell in the Stormwind Mage Tower (/way 49.0 86.4) or Owen Thadd in Undercity's Magic Quarter (/way 74.0 32.4). Getting all 20 is a stretch at level 20, but it's doable.

Mages still get something extra: the first book teaches them Study, which uses a Light Feather in the library for a bundle of scrolls once a day. It may not be working right in the beta yet though. For one tester it kept opening Cooking, crashed their PC, and then disappeared and couldn't be learned again.

Horde and Alliance Skyborne, the new elf race, can talk to each other in the Forever beta. Every Skyborne has Darnassian right now, Windshapers and High Order alike, so when you pick it as your chat language the other faction's Skyborne reads what you typed instead of the usual gibberish.

Nobody's sure yet whether that's on purpose or just left over from both sides starting on the same island. Blizzard has been clear there's no cross-faction play in Forever, so I kind of wonder if it survives, even though one race that split in two still sharing a language makes a lot of sense to me.

@Dansgaming tbh not every rough edge is the same. a long corpse run or having to actually find a group is the friction that gives Classic its personality. something like bag sorting tedium is just annoying.

The Forever beta's population cap went up again, and the login queue people were getting after a disconnect turned out to be an issue that was filling the queue, which is fixed now. Between the two, getting back in after a DC should be a lot quicker.

Mister Graphed, the reagent goblin at the Black Market in the new Riverglades zone, sells Black Lotus and Arcane Crystal in the beta, and none of it is limited supply. That looks like a price cap on the mats that got gouged in Classic 2019 and again on the Anniversary servers, since nobody's paying more on the auction house than he charges.

The cap sits high though, at least on Pyrite, a mat miners are already getting in the beta. It sells to a vendor for 1 silver and he charges 5 gold for it, so my guess is the point is stopping the gouging without crashing prices for the people who farm it.

He also has Gift of Galloping for 150 gold, a 10% mount speed boost that lasts 15 days real time and stacks with Carrot on a Stick.

Druids can drink potions and elixirs in Bear Form in Forever without shifting out.

In Classic it dropped you to caster form, so drinking one while main tanking left you open to a big hit.

Rage Potions work for bears mid-combat too, one more consumable for raid fights.

There's a Black Market Auction House in the Forever beta, at Powderfuse Port, the goblin port in the new Riverglades zone (/way 78.1 51.9). Most of the gear up for bids is Dungeon Set 1, the pre-raid dungeon sets from Classic like Shadowcraft and Magister's, with some pets and tabards mixed in.

That D1 isn't quite the Classic version though. In the beta files the Rogue set, Shadowcraft, has an Energize proc that restores 20 energy instead of the 35 it gave in Classic. I wonder what else they changed on the other sets.
