@Castellani2014 Wow. A lot of people donβt seem to know that Jones mashes lefty pitching. Just a righty stacked line-up against a left-handed starter. Probably see a lot of lefty bats subbed in as right handed relievers come into the game.
@KuKhahil That was about as bad as I have seen the Pistons look all season. Bad turnovers, defensive breakdowns, woof. Good news is that we wonβt see them in the first round of the playoffs most likely. Let the Knicks deal with them haha.
@Knicksman780@Derek09329884@KnicksCentral Well, if you recall the Pistons were missing Duren and Tobias Harris in that game. So, the lack of sympathy was because both teams were down 2 starters. The Knicks are at full strength tonight and Pistons down Duren and Stewart. Not the same.
@TigersJUK The problem with Skubal is that he is a Boras client so he won't sign an extension and will go to the open market where the Tigers won't be able to compete. Good for him, bad for us.
@colton_pouncy Gonzalez is a poor tackler. If you watch his all-22 film against Georgia you see an easily blocked player who is bad against the run. It is too deep of a class to reach for a guy who is bad against the run. Not a bad prospect, but far from a complete player.
@MathBomb Yeah but Ramsey was a better prospect because he was both willing and skilled at tackling people. Gonzalez does not bring much to the run defense from the couple of games I have seen. The Georgia game last year was particularly concerning.
@kmeinke@Justin_Rogers@colton_pouncy@E_Woodyard@BenjaminSRaven Love the pod but can you guys please look into fixing the audio? I get having the 5 of you may be tricky for this episode, but this has also happened with player interviews. Keep up the good work!
@Christo25107862@DetLionBlood Brian Branch is one of my favorite players in the draft, speaking of slot CB. If a coveted QB falls to 6 and they can trade back and get him and an extra pick, I would weep with joy. I suppose you could draft him at 6 but that feels high. And I don't think he falls to 18. Maybe.
@Christo25107862 Also, I am in the camp where you should basically be drafting a QB every year until one hits. Most important position on the field, hard to predict who succeeds, so keep taking swings.
@Christo25107862 Goff has played really well the last two weeks. Nothing would make me happier than for this to continue. One thing is becoming abundantly clear - Johnson and Goff work well together. If that keeps up why mess with it.
@kmeinke Forgive me if this was already covered somewhere, but was there anything encouraging about LO's game before injury? Obviously, the coverage about him getting in shape this offseason was encouraging. Did any of it translate?
