Michael fought bravely against pancreatic cancer. His strength and courage throughout his illness were an inspiration to all who came in to contact with him. His Twitter family gave him so much support and encouragement throughout, and for this his family is truly grateful.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Northumberland Woodland Crematorium on 20thFebruary at 12.30pm, followed by a gathering at The Plough, Alnwick to share memories. All are welcome to attend. Michael has requested purple to be worn in support of Pancreatic Cancer UK.

In lieu of flowers, Michael requested donations be made to Pancreatic Cancer UK. His hope was to contribute to the fight against this devastating disease, so that others don’t have to endure what he went through. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference.
