@BarbieRebranded@LynRutledge1947@GigaBasedDad Fair enough, enjoy your freedom. It's not much use if you're dead though...
I'm sorry about your dad, I can see we're not going to agree on this so I'll leave it here ๐
@BarbieRebranded@LynRutledge1947@GigaBasedDad We had a choice, but if you made a poor choice you had to wait to rejoin civilisation for your own safety. I personally prefer that, less people die
1,000 people who all want the same thing as you, this i what your completion actually looks like. 54% straight up are too afraid to try. 27% will give up too quickly. 10% will take way too long. 8% will get shiny object syndrome. 1% is what is left, this is you and some other person.
@mike_heap_ If I tell an AI I want to talk to a person it's usually because I know already it can't solve my problem. I'd be interested to see the numbers on % of issues that continued on to an agent vs resolved by AI...
Don't be that teammate who blindly refactors code and only makes things worse.
Let's look at some good vs bad refactoring patterns with real examples ๐งต
@AmanVirk1 People got carried away with JS everywhere for the code sharing benefits but without a JS equivalent of Laravel it doesn't work. Too many disconnected and conflicting libraries and too much DIY stuff. I just wanna build cool stuff!
@AmanVirk1 NextJs was the closest we got but with all the RSC stuff coming out I agree with others... We're burnt out. There's too much changing, too quickly and it doesn't feel like we're moving in the right direction.
JS for me is for providing a great user experience on the frontend.
