This is Susan Nabwire
She was 27years and mother to a 1year old.
She ran an MPesa shop at Country Bus station.

Susan was killed by her husband Cyprian Magove on 27th August , after coming home from work. The perpetrator took her keys & phone and hit her while she was still climbing the stairs and pushed her into the house. He locked the doors.He then started strangling her, and asking her for dinner. When Susan brought him food, he banged the table and an argument ensued. He then told her Dawa yako iko ready wewe.

He went to the bathroom and came out with an axe hitting her five times. He kept telling his wife " nilikuambia uniache, ona sasa nakuua ukiniona". He then demanded the house help bring him a knife, which he stabbed Susan with in the eye. He then picked her body from the sofa and dragged it under their bed. After which he cleaned the house , the axe, his shoes and hands.

The househelp was holding the baby and was told if she screamed he would kill her too. He asked her to sleep with him, when she refused , he picked the axe and raped her. He then took a rope and strangled his wife and covered her body with a blanket. He then left and locked all the doors leaving her with the baby.

That's when she started screaming and the neighbours heard and reported to the police.

She was offered EMDR and grief counselling as intervention

He has since been arrested and his matter in court. The help is in our hands going through therapy as she stays in our safehouse.
