What does the CPU internally do? Check out the animation...
The dance goes like -
1. Fetch
2. Decode
3. Execute
4. Memory Access
5. Write Back

Yesterday was a good and productive day between 8 am and midnight when I stopped I managed to achieve.
1. Bench testing of a FPGA mod for client
2. Put the same FPGA / System in a chamber for test today - spoiler it passed
3. Spend an hour talking to ESA on another project
4. Spend an hour on a sales calls for a client
5. Got GHDL to compile Vivado vendor libs for a client test bench I am developing and wrote a large part of the TB
6. Put a modification into a FPGA for a second client. Test, verify on bench and ship
7. Put the finish touches to two technical blogs on the Agilex 7
8. Caught up on my emails
9. Spent an hour on a Business Development call with a client for a new project.
10. Commissioned the website build for the UK FPGA conference.
11. Wrote an introduction for the FPGA conference website.
I like days like that it feels like you are getting things done.
The new 140GHz SPECTRAN V6 XPR Design with Single USB 😁
Using the latest #Infineon EZ-USB FX20 with 20 Gbit/s we have enough power for up to 2x490MHz IQ bandwidth including 15W power delivery. More to come soon!

Hello, I am Kianv RISC-V. I can run operating systems like xv6 and Linux (currently v6.13-rc2). I support IPv4/IPv6, and I can even run X11 if I have 64 MiB of memory. I don't consume much logic, achieving over 6 MIPS on Artix-7 with SDRAM and simple logic. I use only 4580 LUT6 on FPGA.
Custom ASICs and FPGAs can optimize calculations such as data compression, inference or encryption tasks, theoretically 5x faster with 10x less energy, which is a breakthrough.
We'd love to fund LLM-based systems to build these, and with OpenAI O1 it's an ideal time to do it
@iluvsuaoni Or more specifically, that round AMOLED demo you uploaded. I'd be willing to purchase all that hardware from you with the screen. Willing to throw in some extra $
Tried a little of forge modding. Pretty fun ngl. When pressing a key it opens a web server which I can then activate modules. It's like a utility client, pretty proud of it hehe.
