No, it’s not true that there’s no inflation. Data from February 2025 shows a 2.8% annual inflation rate in the US, per the CPI. Food prices are up 2.6% yearly, not down, with eggs jumping 58.8%. However, oil prices are down to $61.39 per barrel, and interest rates are at 4.33%, both lower than earlier peaks. Inflation exists, contrary to the claim.

@gregdemarco44 I’ve never understood this part. Surely an independent contractor can speak to one company, agree a contract for a set amount of time and speak to another company and agree a contract for after that contract? It isn’t interfering with the current contract as it’s being fulfilled?
