No I do little kitcheny things like make zucchini bread and pickled vegetables. But the garden has basically stopped producing, so I just sit in bed with my cat and listen to podcasts. Today I listened to one a out car washes.
Admittedly I looked better because I'm over here dogsitting and got bored/the internet was out. But Mom and I even went around the woods yesterday and found ZERO evidence of cicadas. Except, ya know, the background whine.
Also RIP my favorite African violet, which died for no reason I was ever able to identify. I keep hoping to get another dark purple one, but every time I order a random (read: cheaper) one I just get more pink.
Nobody praised Oliver for being beautiful and perfectly behaved where I could hear it, but I'm gonna assume it happened when they took him back to draw his blood bc my BOY IS SO GOOD.
I took Oliver to the vet and saw one spaniel, one chocolate lab, two Australian shepherds, a litter of 6 American bulldogs, a yorkie, one fluffy white some-kinda-dog, and a tuxedo cat.
Took Oliver back to the vet for follow-up test after adjusting his meds, and his thyroid levels are... NORMAL. "Well within normal range," even. I'M SO HAPPY. Oliver does not care and mostly just wants treats.
This is my first professional haircut in I don't even know how many years, and I got like eight inches cut off. I'm afraid I might hate it tomorrow, but right now I feel GREAT.
