@MES_MustangsPE This is great! I have a new bigger gym so I will be adding a few of yours. I also do dot drills, long jump rope; # of jumps challenge, standing long jump; measured on a panel mat, vertical jump; measured on the wall. Plus, I have heart rate sticks, so I have a 130bpm club.
@HDPhysEd YES!!! with a shorter attention span. I'm trying to figure out how to shorten all directions and keep them moving but even when I do, shouts outs and random disruptions are so frequent.
I'm introducing tag this week for 2-4 grade. Does anyone have a name for the "untaggers". I always dislike using that term. I'd like to use common terms of all tag game jobs. If you also have different names for the "taggers" and "dodgers" please share. thanks for any ideas.
@KlaffkePE Great picture! This is my last year with my youngest. It will be sad next year not having anyone in the building with me. I'm thankful every day that my girls were able to share me with my other 500+ school children and that they respected me as their teacher.
@ElemPE1@RArmstrongPE@RHEPE1 Most warm-ups I join in. You will never see me just watching them during exercises. When I have a odd number especially partner activities i'm right there with them. I only avoid participating in tag games, the likely hood of an injury increases when they have eye on me.
@mrb_physed@phys_educator Long handle striking. This is my plan this week too for 3rd and 4th grade. Adding blasterball game next week after some additional overhand throwing practice.
@BoPhillips10@phys_educator I think I know aerobic bowling and pin bingo but I would love to know more about bonus pin and pin master, if you have time to share. I'm using underhand throwing/roll for my SLO this year. Rolling activities are great for sub plans to keep everyone safe.
@tall_kelly The struggle is real!!!. I have never had so many kids that don't know their "real first name". Students are using middle names and just random names and don't know the name on my list.
@Mr_C_PE I feel terrible for asking for a "share" especially since this post is 4 years old but I love this. I've been looking for something just like this for my virtual classes. They need to share more with each other and not just me. Thanks
@jennamarie_123@Tilley84@KLTB26 Iβve been f2f all year and my students keep asking to do the pacer they love it. Iβm not doing it this year do you masks.
@mrsbradenPE So excited for you!!!! looks so great! Question because Iβm getting a new much bigger gym next year and I want it to look like yours. With all your signs do you have after school sports using your gym and actually leaving everything intact? Thanks
@physedreview Mark it. Use dots with hoping and jumping skills. And/or See how many dots you can mark with your back, knee, belly, hand, foot, feet.... while the music is playing when the music stops freeze and listen to the next way to mark it.
