It’s my first movie
I’m not a popular Actor
I’m not a popular Producer/Director
Have no grand marketing budget
I only have one thing,
THE BEST NOLLYWOOD MOVIE of 2025 & 2026!
I know it seems like I’m just tryna hype up my movie but go out, watch today & come back to this post.
@Elchokhmah No please, I have a copy of the Oceans 11 script somewhere in my drive because it was a learning material for me at some point, and I have gone back to it many times. So, there’s is no comparison here.
Ginger was entertaining at best, but it was not a good film.
Gingerrr is not a terrible film. In fact, parts of it are genuinely entertaining. But it is also a perfect example of how strong cinematography, stylish editing, and talented actors cannot fully compensate for a weak screenplay structure.

@Elchokhmah No, please do not ruin the memories of these films for me by comparing them to Gingerr. In each of these films you mentioned no character appears for nothing. They served a purpose.
@Elchokhmah Kamo’s character? The lady fighter at the end? Olori kobo’s man/ brother, babalawo’s boy that got killed?
Could the story have developed without these characters? Yes!
@Elchokhmah The dialogue was really weird and unnecessarily long. It was so unnatural that it made Abula stutter.
‘Garri in Lagos sun without water’???
Really??
We have watched loud and messy movies, but they do not sway too far from logic like this movie did.
@Elchokhmah 1: the dialogue was so weird.
2: Plot
3: they were trying too hard to give us plot twists that didn’t land.
4: new characters that had nothing to do with the story kept popping up. abbl.

I think we must begin to see the "extraordinary" in things we consider ordinary. It was so bold for the makers of Onobiren to have such a simple story, and yet make it appeal to everyone from all walks of life.
E fun film yen ni award o, if you no want problem.
@thecreativexx Nice movie but I don’t think there’s any stand out performance from any of the cast tho and the storyline clearly looks normal ….. I enjoyed it tho and very good for encouragement
@dayoslides@gbagyifeemboy This is an insult to people’s senses. The story had potential if you joined all the parts together but the film didn’t do that for us. The dialogue explains everything, and who was that final boss lady that came to fight? What was the point of Kamo’s character?
