@E_L_James@Wendy_Wason It beggars belief. I have just this minute used that expression!! NSW Health is making nurses work if showing symptoms but also can’t be tested at work. It beggars belief!!
The answer was no. We have to line up like everyone else at the clinic at the back of the hospital. The same clinic some of us have worked in when the had no staff. Again run by NSW Health. The line is a 3 hour wait.
I said no I’ll line up like everyone else as were your previous instructions. “But I’ve pulled strings here. I’ve bent over backwards” No you haven’t honey. Go fuck yourself. I’ll get tested again on Sunday and wait 3 days. I’ll do it on my terms.
We test staff from the wards and others who need a rapid test. So those of us who have been stood down till we get 2 negative results before returning to work. My boss in ED and the boss of the hospital I spoke to to see if we could have a rapid test in ED.
This may be a long tweet. And may have a lot of complaining. Or offloading. A nurse I work with tested positive to the thing that’s going around. So all who worked with her have to isolate and test. I work in an emergency department.
