@BlackWingStudio Have you reached out to the Rathe Times? They would probably be interested in running articles about the Dragon Queen FROM the Dragon Queen.
@blueplunderrun@YukiLeeBender@battlebroisaac I eventually felt the same way playing Chane into Oldhim. It stretches a different part of your brain to have to think long term and/or with your opponent’s potential counters in mind.
Granted, the first time was miserable. 😂
@YukiLeeBender@battlebroisaac And if I’m on aggro, but don’t have a plan for control/disruption, then I’m not participating in the complexity of the game. Sideboards exist for a reason.
@banishedzone Gotcha. Thank you! I only saw the image floating around and hadn’t seen an article drop on the main site yet. Definitely weird that the Azalea is hidden…🤔
@battlebroisaac As much as I loved playing as and against Chane, I realize that a lot of my wins were probably miserable experiences for my opponents. It’s not fun to win when your opponent gets to do nothing. Whether that’s from too much disruption or too much aggression.
@battlebroisaac This. For real. As much as it sucks to feel like “You don’t get to play the game,” we’ve had that feeling come just as much from Aggro-heavy metagames previously. Ice is fine and if it needs adjustment to make it a little less disruptive, LSS will make those changes.
@ACHILLES2032@Hadesblade@TariqPatel10 Disagree. Soul shackles meant you saw more of your deck in a game than any other deck in the same timeframe. For this reason, you could reasonably predict how you would draw or banish as you got into the latter turns. And that’a before we even get to pitch stacking.
@jg_benji I did need a while. 😂 Took like a month or two off from CC. But Dromai has surprisingly felt the most Chane-like in terms of power level, play patterns, and deck-building nuance. So I’m enjoying the game again for sure.
