When I was 30 I thought I was so smart.
But in reality I was working a dead end, minimum wage sales job.
So when my dad pointed out the not insignificant gap between how highly I thought of myself and my position in life, I realised I needed to change.
I started by applying the same mindset I'd used in martial arts:
• Always be a white belt.
• Always be humble and willing to learn.
And on the recommendation of one of my martial arts teachers I bought the book The Success Principles by Jack Canfield which helped teach me how to think and act to be more successful.
Fast forward to 46 year old Andrew and I’ve done pretty well for myself.
So don’t let your starting position in life put you off.
We can all try to better ourselves.
Just be honest with yourself.
And good luck.
Morning Writer,
Writing a great story is not that difficult
In fact, it's so simple a 5-year old can do it
Let me ask you a question

@TechnicalBben NYSC has achieved the purpose it was created or maybe not. It's time to put an end to it or re-invent it in a way that fits Nigeria's needs today.
A lot of people register for it today because they need it career wise.
Easy Email Marketing “Hack”
Here's a fun method to boost your email opens, clicks...
And most importantly...
Your sales.
And you've probably seen this in action.
Especially if you're anything like me and have opted-in to every email list you think you can learn from.
It's when the "From" isn't the senders name such as:
• John Smith
But is instead from a character such as:
• Your Heart
It works because it helps your email stand out in the inbox.
It generates curiosity, it's lighthearted fun, and it's a contrast to standard marketing emails (even the good ones).
So here's how to do it:
Pick a character.
You want something that's relevant to what you're selling.
For example, for make money online:
• Your Wallet
Personal development:
• Your Ego
Weight loss:
• Your Gut
Or you could get more creative and use characters related to your life and business in general.
For example:
• Andrew's Accountant
Or:
• Your Future Self
And that might be all you need to do.
As I've seen it work simply by changing the from name and writing the rest of the email as usual.
But we can make it more effective by writing the rest of the email from the character:
For the subject line stay in character, focus on curiosity, and keep it short.
So for:
• Andrew's Accountant
The subject line could be:
• The taxman is coming!
For the body copy, keep in character:
“Hey, Andrew's accountant here...
Great news for you as he's been spending money like water - and I need to balance his books.”
Then the email could go on and use that as justification for a sale.
And it'd make for a far more interesting and entertaining email than if I'd written it as normal.
And most importantly it would get more sales.
I've had emails like this get double the opens, clicks, and sales of normal emails.
So don't overlook using characters in your email marketing.
To sum up:
1) Pick an interesting character for your email to be from.
2) Use a short, curiosity-driven subject-line from them.
3) Write the body copy from them.
Play with it.
Don't take it too seriously.
And I think you'll be surprised by the results.
Plus, you could take it even further and write a whole sales page from a character.
That’s something you very rarely see any more.

@Valhenr98870777@TheVictorOkafor I mean... People even say Jesus while having sex or even after making successful fraudulent deals. It usually means nothing of import. Years of conditioning make it a go-to exclamation, right there with other words like "damn!", "shit!", "fucking hell!"
My heart goes out to all international students. The playing field isn't even. The pressure to study, work, and spend time with family pulls them a thousand different ways.
I hope y'all have it easy and graduate well.
