The current revival of Ming style in chinese society is actually a topic worth discussing.
The Ming empire, in the grand sweep of chinese history, cannot really be considered an especially glorious or great era.
So why Ming?
Why not Qin, Han, Tang, or Song?
@AmericanGwyn Well it's an interesting idea and I wasn't sure if I got where you were heading with it! Thanks for bearing with a cantankerous old coot like me.
@AmericanGwyn Just want to make sure I'm doing your post justice. So Cormac got the notion that each language produces its own subjective conscious qualia, and differences in perceived daseins are what give rise to divergent morals, which diverge more widely as time increases. Am I close?
@AmericanGwyn Gotcha. So then Cormac is arguing that people from different language families *do* experience different subjective conscious qualia? My color blue is different from a Spanish guy's color azul, etc.?
@MeAgainCG@AmericanGwyn They did have documents, because I've read them. I have books about them. I have several of them tattooed on my body. I have most of Samuel Noah Kramer's books right here in my library. Point me at a chapter and a page and I'll read it right now.
