Rather interesting talk I had with Vivek Ananth of @mstock_in Mirae Asset Management
https://t.co/V0RfAkaH55
Covers a whole lot:
What is the biggest hole in your retirement plan?
Why following rich and successful investors can be the worst mistake you may make?
Why go global?
Why just investing in the US is not enough?
Why simple and seductive lessons like buy and forget don't work?
What does the long term history of gold tell you?
And the long term history of wars and conflicts?
In book recommendations I can guarantee that you cannot guess the last book quote I have given 🙃

It really depends if one looks into the hood as to what the company contains. This entire deal seems to be a way for the founder to repay some of the debt that was taken to acquire the “AI” business which was originally called Twitter: this website. There’s no other reason to pile on that business into a space exploration startup.

If you have x crore savings that is unencumbered, which you want the person who you make the nominee of your policy to have in case you are no longer around, then you don’t need a term insurance. So, if you want the nominee to have an earmarked amount of money in case something happens to you, unless you haven’t built that corpus, you need that term insurance. Post reaching that number, you don’t need that term insurance. There are many term insurance variants that you can check out that have added benefits, but this is the logical framework you should use.
A single chokepoint handles a large share of India’s LPG, LNG, key chemicals, and even gold & silver imports. Any disruption here can impact energy, bullion, and industrial supply chains.
