Another one Himalayan marmot #Dolma has been fitted with a radio collar by @WRRC_LEH for an ongoing study on movement ecology by @wii_india and Department of Wildlife Protection, Ladakh.

We are delighted to share the heartening news of the successful release of a red fox, rehabilitated at @WRRC_LEH ! This was rescued due to a leg injury & received treatment & care at centre. It has healed & back in its natural habitat, where it belongs. @lg_ladakh@LAHDC_LEH
In a significant event for the wildlife conservation community, the esteemed Director of the Wildlife Institute of India @wii_india along with two faculty members of @wii_india paid a visit to Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre-Leh @WRRC_LEH .
The Ladakh urial was separated from Its herd and came within human settlement.
Our rescue team reached the site without delay. Immobilised the animal, captured and treatment for superficial injuries and subsequently released back successfully into its habitat on June 20th 2023
It's hard to see them arrive whether they are battered, abandoned or starving.
These three baby Ladakh Urials got seperated from their mothers in field. Our rescue team rescued them and kept in the centre under foster care of the super mom.
