@gpeal8 Can hilt and anvil coexist in a multi-module setup? Ie to avoid kapt for feature modules and push hilt to app module(s) only. Does it even make sense to have them coexist?
Things I wish I would've learned earlier as a software engineer:
1. Your manager cannot read your mind. Say what you are thinking.
2. Obsessing about learning will help you 10x more than obsessing about promotions.
3. You haven't solved a problem until you understand the "why".
Excited to start reading about the team that helped shape my professional career since 2008! Thanks for sharing the stories, much appreciated @chethaase
One of the things you learn as a scientist is the ability to look at a plot and think, "that just doesn't look right." That's the feeling I got when I saw this plot that Lomborg is currently pushing.
@chrisbanes I would argue it went his way with the subs against Denmark though. We used them all and had to play the last 15 Mins with 10 players.
But yeah, he clearly did aim for the penalties.
Poor young guys missing those penalties tonight though.. I hope everyone cheers them up.
@GeePawHill For Kotlin at least, it sounds something like sequences would help you. They eval per collection item instead of entire collection, so you can bail early. Don't know if Java has an equivalent. https://t.co/dBxNNcQ6CK
"What & Why, Not How"
I just wrote up my thoughts after having a conversation with a mentor. I hope you find it thought provoking!

Just published: Modelling UI State on #Android
Discussing: should the UI State be a data class or a sealed class? Should the ViewModel expose one or many observable properties?
