@GrantPaulsen Ovechkin can’t be on the point anymore at the power play. His decision making is too slow and his shot isn’t hard enough from out there. He needs to be net front or buffer position

@sharpshootersab Ovechkin scored 5 power play goals this year. This is coaching, he should be at the bumper position. He can’t play the point on the power play anymore. I’m a season ticket holder behind the net they shoot twice. He can’t keep the puck in the zone and he has too many turnovers

@CJC_95 I want to say January last year is when I started noticing the mind numbing turnovers and lapses of judgement in the defensive zone, that led to opponents overwhelmingly beating caps in posssession time. They peaked last season in November and just haven’t been consistent since

@3rdSquadCaptain I’m all for the young players getting chances. That hasn’t happened with Chris at GM. current roster doesn’t have reliable scoring and pure finishers. Chris has only brought in and kept Beauvillier and traded for Sourdif. I just don’t entrust Chris to make the roster better

@Tarik_ElBashir someone has to press Chris Patrick about how many times since last off season he’s been quoted as saying they are actively pursuing a top 6 winger. If he hasn’t been able to do it yet, why should we be confident he can in future?

@TheCupitals We had, this was my thoughts, a really good in depth honest Carlson discussion after a game on here. You have an emotional connection to John, understandably. Trading john doesn’t erase him from what he’s done here. I think it’s a good return for who he currently is as a player
