MORNING UPSET AT #STOH2025
Yukon skip Bayly Scoffin grabs three points in the 10th end to help her rink pull off stunning 9-8 upset of Nova Scotia at the #STOH2025.
UPSET FOR YUKON
Team Bayly Scoffin pick up a three-spot in the 10th end to stun Nova Scotia's @TeamBlackNS, the No. 4 ranked team in Canada, 9-8 for their first win of #STOH2025
@worldcurling I also encourage the WCF to invite the country that was next in line from the respective world qualifying events to take the place of the disqualified federation. 3/3
@worldcurling I am pleased to see the steps being taken to speak out against this military action and to support those affected and opposed to the invasion of Ukraine. This is the best way the International Curling community can communicate their opposition to this action across the world, 1/2
@worldcurling including those Russian citizens who are also taking a stand to oppose their governments action. I feel for those negatively impacted such as the Russian athletes, but this action is how our sport can take steps within their scope of influence. 2/3
@CurlingZone@KWojtalik@curlinggeek@CurlingZone The majority of the other country MD teams that are at the Olympics, or were at the OQE are athletes commit to MD and get funding from the MD program of their country to dedicate their training in the discipline. Its a two way commitment. 🇨🇭🇪🇸🇰🇷🇯🇵🇨🇿🇫🇮🇪🇪🇦🇺🇭🇺, etc.
@curlinggeek@twinetime14@Hall_Curls44 If someone does go down that road, it is likely that the outcome will be; the association has a right to make a decision, but will not venture into whether the decision is right.
