While I don't doubt the resistance had any impact on the Facebook as a whole the act of resistance was on a personal level to determine individual reliance on Facebook and in that sense I do not quite see how it was ineffective since some were able to resist #cse252d4days

Something I didn't hear addressed in the debate is how LAWS can differentiate combatants and non-combatants. How can they avoid mistakes. PRO mentioned an article briefly but I don't believe there was enough technical information to prove this ability #cse252d3laws

@HausserJaina @MichaelW_STS252 I think one of the biggest difference is responsibility. With a human you can assign blame to the soldier and upper command. But who is to blame for a mistake that a machine makes? The engineer?

One thing Pro side mentioned was that LAWS can act more humanely. I share Con's doubts on this and I have the same question as Con 2: Machines make mistakes and when they do who takes responsibility? #cse252d3laws

@ReyhanGuleryuz1 I think this is a question with regards to consent. A person might offer the company permission to use some of their information for their internal use but might object to sharing such information to other entities. #cse252d1priv
