Breville uses Teflon (PTFE) in their coatings. They say they’re “PFOA-free” but that just means they removed one toxic chemical from the manufacturing process. Their higher end models use a silica based coating instead which is better than Teflon but still not great and the pizza pans across the lineup still have straight up Teflon.
