Construction on the @BLVairport MetroLink extension in St. Clair County, Ill. continues to progress, with the route becoming more visible. The project will extend MetroLink 5.2 miles from the Shiloh-Scott Transit Center. The project is set to be completed in spring 2026.

I've gotten more emails about this one than anything I've written in a while, and they're almost all horrifying or heartbreaking. Intercity bus lines are lifelines for a lot of people and the death of the bus station as we know it is a *massive* loss.

Most of the barrier has been installed on the Jefferson viaduct creating a protected bikeway that will soon connect from Chouteau up to Market via the new 21 St. bike path. (Jefferson still currently under construction, not yet open)
