Eat Out to Help Out was Sunak’s infamous Covid vanity project, designed to boost his image.  It cost us £850m in just one month and boosted infection rates into the bargain. The same Chancellor refused to fund school repairs when faced with clear evidence of the risks.  The DfE should probably have presented @RishiSunak with a snappy sounding campaign he could add his signature too, rather than serious info.  Maybe ‘Stay Out to Stay Alive’ would work.

It’s the opposite:

German electricity production from lignite was down 21%, hard coal was down 23% and natural gas was down 4%.

The house building industry are major donors to the Tory party and today they got a bung from Sunak and Gove - who removed water pollution protections from new house building, and dumped the cost on the taxpayer instead. That’s how they roll.
