🚨The UPDF mourns Capt. Steven Akampamya from Kiruhura District.
He joined the army in 2001, served bravely in Operation Iron Fist against the LRA back in 2002, and later led troops in Somalia under AMISOM.
He was more than a soldier, he also wrote songs that lifted the spirits of his fellow servicemen.

His life was cut short in a tragic road accident on Friday night.
