Our neighbors to the south are still struggling too. Oregon has over 2.1m acres burned, and have multiple high-activity fires. The #WrightsSpringsFire has seen large growth since ignition, located just outside Klamath Falls, while the #GrasshopperFire shows no sign of stopping.

Fire update across WA, we saw an increase in activity yesterday, and we have crossed 500,000 acres burned. The #LittleGiantFire had a drastic increase in activity in the last 24h, and the #NunamakerRoadFire and #LittleGooseFire were both new starts last night, seeing huge growth.

I believe we saw the Fujuwhara effect earlier in the Markham-Harvey, #ilwx area. These are common with QLCS mesovorticies like this, but it's rare to get such high-quality radar data from it. The Markham tornado slungshot around the weaker meso from Alsip as it slipped south
