@GuyTalksFinance This is not a high rate. Look at history. Fed manufactured too low of rates. Quick acting like it is catastrophic.

Look at every cost people are complaining about. The root cause is policy changes by the US government. Healthcare-Obamacare. Cost of college- the government consolidates it to be funded by the US government. House prices-policy changes and fed interest rates by the government. Whenever the US government gets involved prices go up. Businesses know they have deep pockets they can charge to.

Mortgage rates have been much higher, unemployment has been much higher, bond yields have been higher, cash yields have been higher, oil has actually been higher, gas prices have definitely been higher, and inflation has been much higher. We'll be fine, quit the fear mongering. Need to get the war over with, however.

@0xdavecryps Nobody's paying minimum wage anymore. In our area kids are getting paid $14 an hour to work at McDonalds. We have electricians and plumbers making $100k. Most businesses today would crater if they tried to pay just minimum wage.
