I think the stress on grades is changing the definition of smart. It used to be what you knew, now it's your grades in different classes. If you are failing, you probably won't be considered smart, if you have straight A's, you are. #diglitclass

I could view my grades online whenever I wanted during high school and I became obsessed with looking. Learning should matter - not tests or grades. #diglitclass

I found the article "It really is okay to leave school" very interested..it does put things into perspective that you definitely CAN learn anywhere, it is just the social norm to attend (as well as the fear of not getting a job worth working). #diglitclass
