@OptaJoe Erm, not his first “for Arsenal in all competitions” because even though it was a B team playing in a Mickey Mouse cup, Saliba was sent off against Wimbledon in 2020

@RudyR23@TheKnowledge_GU For a couple of years (until last month), Vancouver Whitecaps often fielded (Javain) Brown, (Brian) White, and (Tristan) Blackmon, all lining up with (Ryan) Gauld (well…). I invite others to comb the MLS records to find colourful names on their opponents’ rosters
@rezla But (afaik) only on phone or PC. On my iPad only upcoming livestreams are shown (and I’ve paid full whack for the international video package). Emailed the club today about this and other sky+ issues, so I’m sure I’ll get some acknowledgment very soon. Right @AFCWimbledon?
@iainlee@jonronson Only saw them once, Oct 89 at Mcr Uni (support: The Exuberants, also impressive!) but later found that my student digs c93 on Fairview Ave in Levenshulme was 2 doors down from where Sheila & her partner (also in the band?)(and kids?) lived. Might have a pic, in a box in attic…
@DonnyWills83@MartinAllenSmth@michaelwdawes@stusfootyflash One of them nicked by 16 yo brother’s ticket in the melee at the top of the stairs just before our turnstile gate. He bolted through the crowd and halfway round the concourse but somehow we managed to catch him in the car park and got it back. Close call. #whendavewentup
@TheKnowledge_GU Today, Salford City’s “tactics” ensured that 6 of their players were shown yellow cards before half time (on their way to a total of 8 and a straight red). Does this constitute some kind of record?
@FootballCliches I don’t doubt that Man City “never know when they’re beaten”. But when equalizing in the 13th minute?! Seems a little early for that, no?
Here’s a link to the (world feed?) footage that I saw here in Canada, which you probably can’t see

@KentWomble I managed it, with judicious use of @BBC6Music and noise-cancelling headphones whenever leaving the house. To celebrate, today I’m wearing my favourite (non-AFCW) present
