There’s no genocide in Gaza.

There’s no official institutional definition of genocide that fits what’s happening there.

Let’s see the UN Genocide Convention’s definition:

“any of the following acts committed with INTENT to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such.”

It then lists five acts that can constitute genocide when accompanied by that specific intent:

1. Killing members of the group.

2. Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group.

3. Deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about the group’s physical destruction, in whole or in part.

4. Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group.

5. Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

Based on this can we call what’s happening in Gaza a genocide?

Let’s see:

The population of Gaza has grown significantly since 2005 when Israel withdrew from the strip.

So there’s no intention to wipe out a group.

What about the genocidal condition of imposing harsh conditions?

Well, Israel as of July 23, 2025:

COGAT reported 1.8 million metric tons of total humanitarian aid entering Gaza since the beginning of the war.

This included food, water, medical supplies, shelter materials, etc.

This has never been done in the history of urban warfare.

What about systematic killing?

Well, the war has destroyed around 90% of buildings in Gaza but only just 3% of the population is dead: including combatants.

What does that say? It means the intent wasn’t killing humans but destroying Hamas bases messed with dense civilian population.

In fact, the IDF invented Roof Knocking, which is how they warn Gaza’s to leave an area before it’s bombed.

So, your genocide accusations are merely media fabricated virtue signalling antisemitic propaganda that bears zero truth value.
