@tacolamp Been fun following your progress on this project. Definitely understand the feeling of last minute debugging and delays. I respect everything trying to be polished at launch. Looking forward to the release!
@glugpu I'm not a fan of the character designs at all. I think the Smash Ultimate-style is a perfect fit for Star Fox. I'd also give the character designs a pass if the game wasn't a 64 remake. Do they not have enough faith in the franchise to make a new, original game? I don't get it...

@E3patinoP@raiderbellexd Sure, but this isn't my original design. The Isabelle here is the result of me doing my best to replicate a design by @cozyberru:

@Lunascaped It's fun! I never played the 3DS one, so this is my first Tomodachi Life game. The lack of online Mii sharing is really a bummer though. Designing cool Miis like Isabelle here takes hours and I'm not very artistic so I'm usually slowly copying samples online. ๐
@CrisppyBoat Truly amazing work, really dig your art style! I'm a huge sucker for the claymation look, even if it's a done as digital render. Love it! ๐ฅ
@NintendomHour@TAHK0 The wizard and barbarian take is a fun one, but this is the real answer. Nogami was interviewed in issue #6 of Nintendo Dream 2001 and explained that they added the horned hat for the male character because playtesters kept mistaking them for a girl due to the camera angle.
@Mariogirl17 Yep! The hiragana on the original boxart is technically the original reference to that quote. I believe thereโs an interview or GDC talk with Katsuya Eguchi where he talks about the stationery-inspired promotional material and how they came up with what to write.
The 3.0.2 update for New Horizons places a gift letter from Nintendo in your mailbox, featuring a new stationery design based on the boxart of the original N64 game. The letter also references a quote for the initial pitch of Animal Crossing as a "multiplayer communication game".
@willbeers Cool to see another accepted submission! I believe there was a limit of 50 words. And youโre right, it didnโt have to be a haiku exactly - you just had to submit something clever. Also, your name can still be found on the winners list, further immortalizing your pioneer status!
Animal Crossing GCN mentioned in 2026. ๐ If this game ever comes to NSO, I'll definitely do a livestream testing all the old glitches and quirks. I kind of doubt it will though since they'd have to either ignore or rework the e-Reader / GBA content, but who knows...
More songs from the Nintendo GameCube game, Animal Crossing, are in the #NintendoMusic app today!

This was edited and sent to me by StrawS1f9, one of my channel members. They also surprised me with an entire out-of-context compilation of my channel. I thought it was funny, so I uploaded it to my second channel with their permission... Enjoy... ๐ตโ๐ซ https://t.co/dmmP0aTszM
