@luckychappy_ But catering to the casual players vs the players who play the game no matter the state it’s in is a weird way to go about it. This is a huge negative for ranked and the people who can’t see that don’t or shouldn’t make it out of gold but want to feel good about being diamond
@Stuart_Taylor11@Jxmo_1 If they kept his passive and allowed him to stack nades still with a cap would be a good middle ground I can agree on but I can’t agree that a legend being bad is healthy for the game. All the legends should be viable in one way or another
FULL HIGHGUARD REVIEW AFTER PLAYING
Highguard is getting way more backlash than it deserves, and honestly a lot of it feels like cope. The game is hard. It demands mechanical skill, awareness, and good decision-making, and that alone is enough to turn a lot of people off. A lot of the negative comparisons come from players expecting another Overwatch or Marvel Rivals-style hero shooter, but Highguard clearly isn’t trying to be that. Judging it by those standards completely misses the point.
The 3v3 siege mode gets criticized a lot, but it actually works really well with the current time-to-kill. Smaller teams mean individual skill matters more, and clutching a 1v3 is genuinely possible if you play well. Sure, I think there’s room to experiment with larger formats like 5v5 or 6v6 down the line, but for this mode, 3v3 feels intentional and balanced rather than limiting.
If you enjoy fast-paced movement shooters that reward raw aim, positioning, and quick reactions, there’s a lot to like here. That said, I can’t ignore the performance issues. The game is badly optimized right now, and there’s a strange blur that constantly affects visual clarity. These feel like fixable problems, but they do hurt the experience in its current state.
Overall, most of the outrage and bad reviews don’t come from bad design — they come from players who can’t keep up and don’t want to adapt. Highguard knows what kind of game it wants to be, and for the right audience, it delivers.
@4MR_Fetti@FFCane32 Nah Fetti they took his sidearm before they shot him. He had a carry permit and he was well within his right to carry. They took it out of his waistband and the mag dumped him in the back.
@JoshGillis2@4MR_Fetti Willfully being ignorant is being complicit. If you are okay with anything that’s happening right now in Minneapolis you’re literal scum and you’re no better than the thugs running around killing American citizens.
It doesn’t make you a lib to be disgusted to see a man get murdered for practicing his first and second amendment rights. Blindly defending ICE because Trump and his administration tells you to makes you the opposite of a patriot and is as anti-American as it gets.
*takes gun from us citizen
*shoots unarmed us citizen 5 times while on the floor defenseless posing no harm
It’s absolutely INSANE anyone is defending that.
ICE and anyone supporting ICE needs to figure it the fuck out, FAST because Americans WILL NOT stand for this.
