@wightmanr @JamesSurowiecki There is a tax revenue implication to the vat tax. Given our low corp tax rates, we get a lot less in tax revenue (on profit) than the UK does with a 20% VAT (total cost). Better would be to change the corp income tax so that they can min tax burden based on domestic worker pay
