@ryanmouquegolf I tend to strike the ball better when my intent is to hit a fade or draw. I line up for the shot I imagine it I commit to it. When I set up square or stock I feel less confident because I know i could pull hook. Do you find some people strike it better playing an intended shape?
Iโve been struggling with pullhooks all year. I experimented with my set up. I hit alot bad shots but that was the point. By the end my swing felt effortless and tighter dispersion. I discovered that having less shaft lean at address straightened my shot and I felt more connected
@Nickolgolf I usually try to feel like Iโm rotating my trail foot clockwise into the ground in the back swing. Is this a drill to improve that and work the lead leg to do the same thing? I notice I interact a less with the ground with my lead foot.
Big believer now if you wanna actually improve your golf swing play blades/player irons. Game improvement clubs mask everything and are inconsistent. Been playing for 14 months. 7 months with TM QIโs. 7 months with Mizuno MP-64โs and my ball striking and scores are so much better
@thwacknicklaus This prob says more about my swing than modern vs traditional equipment. But I bought a mint Marumon Big Win VS at a yard sale for 2 bucks. Hit it for the first time yesterday for fun. Only 20 yrds shorter than my driver and much tighter dispersion. I found it easier to hit??
@jt_stamford I tried a very similar chip yesterday. Downhill chip very bushy rough short sided hole on a downslope. I was happy that it barely stayed on the other side of the green ๐
