I don’t know what it is, but for the most part, I’m largely unmoved by the WWE product in 2025. There are certain wrestlers and stories that intrigue me. But on a wider scale, everything just feels so… lifeless.

When I get done watching one of these shows (especially SmackDown), I’m just left feeling disappointed or that my time has been wasted. Wrestlers like Andrade, Carmelo Hayes, Chad Gable, or Dragon Lee, who could be great assets to your weekly product, are either stuck in catering or just pin eaters for the top guys.

On top of that, the WWE openly leaning more towards a right-winged “manosphere” audience really isn’t helping. Seeing guys like Tony Hinchcliffe and Andrew Schultz make their way on the show just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Especially when the company is already facing criticism for the lack of representation with its black wrestlers.

I don’t know if it’s due to the TKO merge, or just a creative burnout from Paul Levesque, but I hope things get better soon.
