I am absolutely heartbroken. 💔 I was just with RJ a few days ago. We spent hours hanging out and talking, played in a charity golf tournament, and I took him on his very first hot air balloon ride. When it was time for him to leave, I dropped him off at the airport to head home.
It was incredibly difficult to watch him walk away because I knew he was struggling with some difficult feelings. I offered him a place in my home where he could take a step back, reset, and have some time to think without the pressures of everyday life. But he told me he needed to go, so I made him promise to call me if he ever needed to talk or needed anything at all. 😔
I first met RJ in 2009 while filming Breaking Bad, and we remained friends all these years. He was genuinely one of the kindest people I have ever known. He treated everyone he met with warmth, compassion, and respect.
RJ was also a passionate advocate for disability awareness and rights. He frequently spoke at schools and nonprofit organizations, offering encouragement, hope, and inspiration to people with disabilities. He wanted them to know that they could live full, meaningful lives, just as he did. He gave so much of himself to his community and made a difference in the lives of so many people.
We have lost a truly beautiful soul, a compassionate human being 🙏🏼😔
PLEASE BE KIND. You never truly know what someone else may be going through behind closed doors. Check in on your loved ones, your friends, your colleagues, and anyone who might be struggling or simply need someone to listen. Never underestimate the power of a conversation, a kind word, or letting someone know they are not alone. Sometimes, simply being there for someone can make all the difference.
If you are going through a difficult time, please, PLEASE reach out to someone. You do not have to face your struggles alone. Talk to a friend, a loved one, or someone you trust. If you are in the United States and need immediate emotional support, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Please check on one another. Please listen. Please show compassion. And above all, BE KIND. ❤️

Video game sections at stores are now skimpy, kids channels have 3 shows, 51% decline of children playing out as opposed to the 1990s, less people celebrate Halloween..
Genuinely one of the worst times in life experience a childhood.
Spending my time arguing that Remastering an Iconic game,
that changed Looter Shooters forever,
and was played by Tens of Millions of people,
But was never available on PC,
is, in fact, a good idea.

RJ Mitte’s Breaking Bad co-star reveals how he tried to offer RJ Mitte a safe haven and a place to stay in his final days.
“I offered him to stay at my house with my son, just him and I, and told him, ‘Just come to my house, bro, and just reset yourself. Think clearly without people pulling you in every way.’”
“He had already been on the road for over a month. He said he had to go home, and so I made him promise to call me if he needed to talk. And he did. And I never got a call.”
“We talked about everything the situation. I said, ‘Just come to my house, bro, and stay with me.’”
“I want to say this time he was a little different. I could tell he was different, so to try to cheer him up I invited him to come, we tried to cheer him up, joke around like we always do.”

It's hard not to conclude they intentionally tanked the Xbox signature franchise for 15 years.
xbox understands something that i think a lot of the gaming industry is about to learn
the people who love your games the most might also be the people who invent the most interesting things to do with them
giving those people more freedom is an enormous competitive advantage
It’s not just in toys
It’s in your appliances, your cars, your movies & shows. It’s in the service at the restaurant or the help you receive from customer service
Today we're standing up XBOX LABS (https://t.co/dJSufI1vni). Here is the note that I sent to the team:
Team,
The first video games emerged some 75 years ago. In the time since, there have been booms and busts, but every year there are more great games to play, more devices to play them, and best of all, more people than ever playing. That growth helped make XBOX what it is today, and we've helped shape the industry in return, from bringing hard drives to consoles and online gaming through Xbox Live to Game Pass and cloud gaming, alongside franchises that have brought millions of people together.
In recent weeks, we've seen games rapidly decompiled and rebuilt to run on hardware they were never originally designed to support. Windows PC builds have been translated to run on Apple Silicon or ported to run inside a browser through WebAssembly and WebGPU, the latter now approaching 90% global browser support. Perhaps more surprisingly, we've seen many of the biggest games in the world have been remixed into the source code of another.
These experiments challenge long-held assumptions about our industry: the tether between software and hardware, the boundary between creation and play, and how people discover and experience games. While it is hard to predict the future of gaming, it is easy to see the possibilities in making great games easier to access, giving old games new life and allowing more players to become creators and co-creators. These are unmistakably good outcomes for players, even when (and sometimes because) they challenge our existing business models.
To explore these possibilities, I’ve asked Scott to stand-up XBOX LABS, a small group of game makers, engineers and scientists whose job is to turn emerging ideas into things our players and developers can experience. We'll build in the open, learn from what people do, and measure success by whether more people are playing and creating.
I think XBOX has an important role to play here. Coding became the first major workload for agents because they can write, run, and test software. Games share many of those same properties, and people spend more than 72 billion hours a year playing XBOX games, roughly five times the estimated time spent writing code worldwide. We've spent 25 years learning how to make great games, and I want our game makers to help shape what these new technologies make possible. As we learn, we’ll share the tools we build with developers across the industry, just as we always have.
Our priorities aren't changing. We remain committed to the 4Cs, to making great games, to our hardware and to being responsible stewards of IP and the communities built around it. LABS gives us a way to explore new technology that is game design led without abandoning the work already underway.

MICROSOFT JUST CAVED TO THE MODDERS 🚨
Xbox is launching "Xbox Labs" to experiment with AI-assisted development, decompilation and cross-platform ports, and it wants players to become creators.
Their own words: "Giving old games new life and allowing more players to become creators and co-creators. These are unmistakably good outcomes for players, even when (and sometimes because) they challenge our existing business models."
Community decomps and AI reverse engineering forced their hand. When you can't stop it, you join it.
