If you remove the franchise fee and net all the income and expenses each team makes about 500m pkr per season.

Which means:

Quetta makes a profit.
Isloo & Zalmi break even.
Lahore & Karachi lose a bit.
Hyderabad and Multan lose 1.5b/year
Pindiz lose 2b/year

With the broadcast revenue cap in place, there is no chance of reducing the losses much.

It’s just not a sustainable model. 🤷‍♂️
