🐀 The Islamic Republic leader takes cover in his underground bunker like a coward.

Like he did during the 12-day war and in the days after it, Ali Khamenei, has once again retreated into an underground bunker, according to information reported by Iran International.

During the 12-day war, Iranians nicknamed him “Moosh Ali”, a Persian phrase meaning “Mouse Ali” or “Rat Ali”, mocking his disappearance underground while issuing threats from safety.

This comes despite decades of fiery rhetoric about martyrdom and confronting the enemy on the battlefield, language that has long been the standard of Islamic Republic officials. When real danger approaches, the man who glorifies sacrifice for others chooses hiding for himself.

The move reportedly followed assessments by senior military and security officials warning of an increased likelihood of regime-ending U.S. strikes on the Islamic Republic.

While Khamenei remains underground, daily affairs are said to be handled by his son, with other officials maintaining contact from outside.
