While I applaud the idea of giving bonus funds to traders, the way this contest is designed essentially just makes the rich richer, and does nothing for the Regular Joe trader. I don't think the highest pnl trader is the "best onchain trader" just because they start out with more cash, and therefore make more pnl.

If the contest was set up by pnl%, rather than pnl$, it would be more egalitarian and motivating to folks, and actually indicate who the best traders are. (just wait: this feature change will probably be made now that I've talked about it, as we see in many other situations)

It shows that we at @americadotfun really do have a very different ethos on what on-chain trading and opportunity should look like.
