We made a very clear pledge in our manifesto that we must now deliver.
That means ensuring access to medicine that has been proven time and time again to save the lives of trans people.
A ban on puberty blockers is unacceptable.
We are horrified and so, so tired.
An update will come from us in the next couple of days on how our movement will respond to this.
Please stay safe and keep fighting.
Labour's manifesto promised to "remove indignities for trans people who deserve recognition & acceptance".
That entails ending the Tories' ban on puberty blockers.
Young people – cis & trans – must have access to healthcare they need. I'll always stand with the trans community.
Only a small number of young people are prescribed puberty blockers. Those who are often describe them as life-saving.
I know the distress the puberty blockers ban is causing them.
No matter what happens in court, I will continue fighting for the government to scrap it.
Our government is fucking ass man, they make lives hard for Trans people who are such a minority to begin with claiming its protecting womens rights and now here is proof that they actually dont give a shit about womens rights anyway
We need to get the tories out
#TruthIsNotAHateCrime
The truth being, of course, that
Transmen are men.
trans women are women.
Sex isn't gender.
Trans rights don't impact non-trans rights.
Everyone having rights doesn't mean that you have less.
Be kind to those different than you
