🚀 New Governance Proposal is Live

A proposal has been published to ratify LightChain AI's 3-Month Development Sprint Program (August–October 2026) and authorize a development support transfer to help fund it.

📋 The proposal — LightChain AI — 3-Month Development Sprint Program — would ratify a structured, three-sprint execution plan covering the published Technical Roadmap, including:

🔧 Sprint 1 (August): Internal audit completion, EIP-7702 fork enablement, DEX go-live, launchpad open-sourcing, and external audit kickoff

⚙️ Sprint 2 (September): Full external L1 security audit, audit-gated decentralization cutover to mainnet, EIP-7702 smart accounts, and the worker onboarding CLI

🛠️ Sprint 3 (October): Audit remediation, CI/CD pipelines, first public Developer API/SDK release, and deeper worker/validator analytics

💰 A 17,482,517 LCAI transfer ($25,000 equivalent at the reference price) from the Treasury to the development operations wallet, partially funding external services, a new full-time developer hire, and contributor retention over the program

🧠 Why it matters:
This converts the published roadmap into a time-boxed, community-ratified plan with weekly public updates, sprint-end reports, and on-chain verifiability for every mainnet deliverable — so the community can track exactly what's being built, when, and at what cost.

📅 Accountability built in: the team commits to a weekly progress update every week of the program — what's done, what's in progress, any blockers, and any scope changes.

📈 Sprint scope is a floor, not a ceiling — additional community-prioritized work can be pulled into any sprint, with any change explicitly stated in the weekly update. The team also commits to no bulk token sales, with the granted tokens spread across the full three-month program.

⚠️ Importantly, this proposal does not fully cover development costs (the team continues to substantially bear the remainder), and all USD figures are for budgeting reference only.

🚀 We've open-sourced the Lightchain DEX frontend.

The interface behind LCAI Swap is now publicly available under the MIT license. The full source—including swap logic, liquidity management, and wallet integration—is on GitHub for anyone to review, audit, or build upon.

It's a non-custodial frontend for a Uniswap V2–style AMM on the Lightchain AI network. The app communicates directly with the on-chain router, factory, and pair contracts. Transactions are constructed client-side and signed by your own wallet, with no backend in the trade path.

What's included:
• 🔄 Token swaps and full liquidity management (add, remove, and view positions)
• ✍️ EIP-2612 permit signatures for gasless liquidity removal approvals
• 👛 Wallet connectivity via Reown AppKit (WalletConnect)
• ⚙️ Built with Next.js, TypeScript, and wagmi/viem

The README covers configuration and self-hosting, including how to deploy the underlying Uniswap V2 contracts to run an independent instance. Once live, you can list your DEX on https://t.co/p7NovRDhRa.

🚨 New Governance Proposal is Live

A proposal has been published to authorize approval of the BitMart listing agreement and payment of the associated BitMart listing fee for the upcoming LCAI/USDT market listing.

The proposal — Approve BitMart Listing Agreement and Listing Fee — would authorize Quantum Counsel LLC, acting as Administrator of the LCAI DUNA, to ratify and approve the executed BitMart Listing Agreement, pay the required $30,000 USDT listing fee, and convert a capped amount of previously authorized LCAI solely as needed to fund that fee.

Under the proposal, any conversion of LCAI would occur only on an as-needed basis, with unused funds or proceeds returned to the existing liquidity allocation and segregated custody structure established under the prior liquidity provisioning proposal.

🧠 Why it matters:
The prior “Authorize Exchange Liquidity Provisioning” proposal approved market-maker liquidity support for exchange onboarding, but it specifically reserved approval of any final listing agreement and listing fee to a separate DAO vote. This proposal is intended to provide that separate governance approval while maintaining DAO oversight of material exchange-related financial commitments.

If approved, the proposal would support the planned BitMart listing of the LCAI/USDT trading pair, currently targeted under the agreement for launch on or before June 15, 2026.
