Companies have to over-recruit as it takes so long to arrange visas and workers can't be easily transferred between countries, meaning more expensive holidays.

@EmilyThornberry for #services, a lot of the evidence from small business and freelancers is not visible. It concerns UK in UK trading with EU and UK in EU trading (or trying to) in the single market. UK in EU of no interest to HMRC or UK gov. Who cares?

UK citizens blocked from applying to projects in Switzerland despite Liz Truss' quota of permits in the UK-Swiss deal. Swiss cantons always have the option to refuse a permit. Clients won't risk that or wait for permit processing @xborderservices @NickClancarty
